The SASSI publishing house, founded in 2006 with publications on art and photography at an international level, has since 2010 developed an original publishing programme aimed entirely at children.

The children’s publishing programme, which initially focused on toy-books, has diversified over time into picture books and more recently into fiction for children aged 9 and over. The motto of the publishing house is „learning while having fun“, and thanks to this playful-educational approach, SASSI has become a leader in Italy and worldwide in the particular niche of the toy-book market.

“Giralangolo” is an imprint of EDT srl founded in 2007. The publishing program spans over children’s books through to teenage and fiction for teenagers and young adults. The catalogue now includes more than 200 titles, and Giralangolo publishes approximately 15 new titles a year. One of the titles won the 2024 Strega Prize for the Middle Grade section.

Alboroto Ediciones is a Mexican publishing house that was founded in 2018 . Its books are designed to provoke thought and raise awareness. We address challenging topics such as dictatorships, exile, disappearances, social integration, and disabilities, among others, through an aesthetic and
poetic lens.

In such a short time, its books have received numerous awards and
recognitions. In 2021, author María José Ferrada received the prestigious SM Award for Literature in recognition of her career. The book Niños by María José Ferrada and María Elena Valdez received a Poetry Mention at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair (BCBF). With his illustrations for Gigante en la Orilla, Andrés López won the 2022 International Award for Illustration at the BCBF-Fundación SM. 2023, El Bolso by María José Ferrada and Ana Palmero won the New Horizons Award at the Bologna Ragazzi Awards.
